Purchasers of Dubai property 'must look to quality'
As those looking for help with money through property investment look further and further afield, there are unique aspects in each market which buyers should take into account, it is claimed.
Barclays Buying Abroad gives the example of Dubai, where it says quality is the factor which purchasers should focus on in order to achieve the best results.
Suzanne Clay, senior business development manager for Barclays Buying Abroad, said: "The key to buying in Dubai is to buy real quality from a quality developer and make sure you are buying in the top areas. Location is so important".
She added that, while oversupply can be a problem in the current market, anyone seeking help with money through property investment should already be aware of the long-term nature of such concerns.
According to Dubailand.ae, more than 100,000 Britons have bought property in the country since 2002.
More than 82 per cent of the country's population is constituted by expatriates.
