Italy 'has further growth to enjoy'
Consumers interested in foreign property as a means of seeking help with money might like to consider the promising future of the Italian market, it has been suggested.
According to overseas property buyer specialist Amberlamb, significant potential remains in the Italian market with growth likely to occur for at least the next two years.
Rhiannon Williamson, director of the finance news company, said: "The Italian property market has just enjoyed a straight eight-year run of property price growth.
"It has been estimated that by the end of this year there will have been almost a €30 billion (£21.55 billion) increase in the value of the real estate market in Italy over the last six years."
She added that, while the rate of growth is slowing from its 10.6 per cent peak in 2003, there is still room for investors to gain significant help with finance.
According to Channel 4 property show A Place in the Sun, the value of Italian property may not have increased at the same rate as Spain, France or Bulgaria, but capital appreciation in the country remains strong.
