TD Waterhouse launches two investment opportunities
TD Waterhouse has announced the launch of two new investment opportunities which will "help customers build an investment portfolio" at reduced cost.
The execution only stock broker Regular Investment Account and Regular Investment Isa enable customers to buy shares for just £1.50 commission per stock, with no fee at all levied on funds.
Investors are obliged to make payments of £25 per month for stocks or £50 per month for funds, with the option of adding extra lump sum payments at any time.
Tom Diavolitsis, marketing and business development director at TD Waterhouse, said: "Share price fluctuations can be off-putting to some investors who may be unsure when to buy and sell shares and fund units, or unable to risk investing large amounts at a time.
"Choosing to invest a set amount each month can remove at least some of the worry because we make the purchase on our customer's behalf. This way we can group all of the orders and pass on the savings by reducing our commissions."
Both accounts can be managed online by customers.
