Standard Life GARS fund now available on bonds and pensions wrappers
Standard Life has announced the launch of a new insured fund aimed at investors "with a cautious attitude to risk but who still desire greater returns than normally available from cash".
The Global Absolute Return Strategies (GARS) Fund is available across all of Standard Life's bond and pension products wrappers as well as through the firm's tax wrappers on its Wrap platform.
Graham Dow, head of investment development at Standard Life, said: "By continuing to diversify the mix of funds available through our products, we aim to provide enhanced investment choice and help advisers offer their clients additional diversity in their investment portfolios.
"If clients are looking for consistent positive returns in a variety of market conditions, then the new GARS fund may be the answer."
Standard Life claims it is the first life and pensions provider to link to GARS.
