Lloyds TSB launches Airmiles Mortgage
Lloyds TSB has announced the launch of an innovative mortgage product through which borrowers can benefit from free airmiles.
Borrowers who take out an Airmiles Mortgage with the lender will be given lump sum of 6,000 airmiles on completion of their loan.
Meanwhile, for the duration of the fixed rate term of the deals, they will earn 50 miles per month.
The product is available on a range of three year fixed rated products with rates starting from 5.89 per cent.
Alison Burns, director of network mortgage sales at Lloyds TSB, said: "This new deal combines some of our most competitive rates, with a genuinely useful reward package.
"We all enjoy the idea of getting something for free and in a time when mortgage payments are a top priority, this offer enables customers to earn rewards on their essential spending."
She added: "This is a brand new concept for the mortgage market and part of our ongoing commitment to provide customers with innovative products."
Lloyds TSB calculates that over the course of the fixed term of the home loan customers can earn up to 7800 airmiles.
