Barclaycard launches new credit card with reward scheme
Barclaycard and InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG) have launched a new credit card with an innovative reward scheme.
The Priority Club Rewards Visa enables card holders to amass Priority Club points every time they make purchases, with the value of the points doubled when the card is used to buy IHG accommodation and services.
Holders can then use the points against a range of services and leisure pursuits such as airlines miles, experience days out and stays in hotels.
Mike Kopec, vice president of IHG Global Alliances & Business Analysis, said: "We are delighted to team-up with Barclaycard to launch our new Priority Club Rewards VISA credit card.
"Customers will benefit from the generous rewards available whenever they use their card and will receive double points when they use the card in IHG hotels."
Under the terms of the reward scheme one point is awarded for every £1 spent at participating retailers.
APR on the Priority Club Rewards Visa stands at 16.9 per cent
