Tesco unveils new home insurance policies
Tesco has announced the launch of three new insurance products which it claims will "meet the needs of customers whatever their home insurance requirements".
The Value deal offers policyholders basic cover and is 30 per cent less expensive than next product in the range.
The Standard policy is an enhanced version of Tesco's existing home insurance product and includes enhancements such as no compulsory excess and £10,000- worth of additional cover at no extra cost.
Finally, the Finest level of cover includes unlimited buildings cover and also includes a range of benefits including ID fraud detection and a concierge service.
Jim Bruce, head of Tesco home insurance, said: "When our customers walk into our stores they expect to see great choice and get great value for money.
"We've brought this range to the home insurance market to offer even greater choice, clarity and value."
