NatWest unveils new Student Package
NatWest has launched a revamped version of its Student Package, offering tailored products to those in full-time education.
Among the features of the package are a tiered interest-free overdraft facility, with first, second and third year students permitted to go overdrawn by £1,250, £1,400 and £1,600 respectively.
Students are also given a fee-free Student Credit Card and a free five-year Young Person's Railcard, which can cut the cost of most rail fares by one-third.
Mark Worthington, head of NatWest student and graduate banking, said: "When choosing a Student account, you should look for a bank that really understands the situation students are in, offers flexibility and has a good interest free overdraft facility.
"The NatWest 2008 student package has evolved in response to what students have told us really matters to them."
The Railcard also enables holders to obtain discounts in Topshop, Domino's Pizza and Office.
