A&L raises rates for online savings offerings
Alliance & Leicester International (A&LIL) has announced it has increased interest rates on its range of online savings products.
Under the new terms offered by A&L's Isle of Man-based savings bank, the rate of interest on the eSaver Offshore Issue 2 has increased by 0.25 per cent to 6.50 per cent, while the eSaver Offshore Notice 50 will now offer a rate of 6.65 per cent – up 0.30 per cent.
Meanwhile, the rate on the eSaver Offshore Flexible Income has been increased by 0.29 per cent to 6.65 per cent.
Simon Hull, managing director of Alliance & Leicester International, commented: "As with all our products, innovation, access and strong rates are key, which is why we're constantly striving to ensure our customers get the products they really want, with very competitive rates.
"These best buy rates further position Alliance & Leicester International as the online, offshore savings bank."
