A&L scoops awards for current accounts
Alliance & Leicester (A&L) has scooped a brace of awards for its current accounts.
The firm picked up the award for Best Current Account Provide (Credit Interest) and Best Current Account Provider (Debit Interest) at a ceremony held by moneysupermarket.com this week.
A&L has now won both of the gongs for six years consecutively.
Emma Walkley, current account manager at Alliance & Leicester, said: "We are delighted once again to be chosen for these awards - it's really pleasing to be recognised for both for our great credit interest and our zero pre cent overdrafts.
"Our market leading credit interest rate of 8.5 per cent AER on our Premier Direct and Premier 50 accounts and 10 per cent AER on our Premier 21 account offer great rewards to our customers."
