The Cheshire targets 'savvy savers'
The Cheshire building society has unveiled new savings products which claim to offer "competitive rates for savvy savers".
The three fixed rate bonds are available in one, two and three year options with deposits ranging from £1,000 to £2 million.
Rates on the offerings range from 6.50 per cent to 6.75 per cent, with savers permitted to open more than one bond.
David Gibson, senior marketing manager for the company, said: "In this current uncertain economic climate, people are wary of investing in the stock market and are returning to tried and tested means of saving money.
"These three new bonds are ideal for savers looking to lock in for a guaranteed return on their money while fixed rates are high with a choice of terms and great rates."
All three products forbid additions and withdrawals to the original investment and subject to limited availability.
