Tesco unveils 30% off car insurance offer
Tesco has slashed the cost of its car breakdown cover in the UK and Europe for an offer aimed at drivers struggling with the soaring cost of motoring.
As of today, customers who sign up online for the company's Standard Care, Extra Care and Total Care UK-only range of breakdown cover policies will receive a discount of 30 per cent for the first year.
The offer is also available on Tesco Euro Care, which offers breakdown cover for trips to the Continent.
Allan Burns, head of general insurance at Tesco, said: "With the August bank holiday approaching, now is a great time for families to arrange breakdown cover to ensure their trips go according to plan.
"The 30 per cent online discount will also help them save money which can be put towards other enjoyable outings."
Standard, extra and total care cover will now priced at £23, £41 and £55 for a single car, with Euro Car Cover available for £31.50 per trip.
