Five Star cover unveiled by Tesco
Tesco has unveiled a new home insurance policy which it pledges will provide Five Star cover for properties.
The Finest Home Insurance policy sees the removal of the upper limit of £1 million of cover for buildings insurance as well as a rise in the limit for contents cover for when customers are away to £10,000.
Meanwhile Garden Furniture cover has increased from £1,000 to £1,500 and the limit for bicycles is also up from £1,000 to £1,500.
Jim Bruce, head of home insurance at Tesco, said: "We have introduced Finest Home Insurance for customers who have told us that they need that little bit extra including higher sums insured. They also want us to be doing more for them to make their lives easier."
Other features of the cover include the offer of a bespoke concierge service and home emergency and ID fraud detection.
