India offers "good off-plan opportunities"
India could provide investors looking for help with money through off-plan properties with a number of options in 2008, according to an industry figure.
Nicholas Marr, the chief executive office of personal finance services firm Homesgofast, states the market in idea could be advantageous for a number of reasons.
He states that property prices are "good" and that buyers looking to compare mortgages will be able to tap into two separate markets.
"Somewhere like Mumbai and Delhi would attract both an international market because it is cheap and the local community who are looking for new properties."
Mr Marr argues that this means buyers will be presented with "a good exit strategy".
Recent reports from Goldman Sachs and the Economy Watch showed that India is on the verge of further economic growth.
Those looking to purchase holiday homes may also be interested to read that Delhi is to play host to the 2010 Commonwealth Games, which could prompt further interest from those looking to visit the city.
