Croatia 'an investment hotspot of the future'
Investors looking for positive property finance news should consider Croatia, it has been suggested.
Finance comparisons between the cost of investing in Croatia compared with other markets such as Italy and Greece indicate that the country is "exceptionally good value for money", said Les Calvert, director of Property Abroad.
Although not as developed in market terms as countries such as Greece and Italy, investors looking to get ahead of the trends should consider Croatia to be a good option for future returns, Mr Calvert indicated.
"We've seen a large increase in online searches for property in Croatia in the last 12 months, so obviously people are starting to take more interest," he commented.
Buyers are advised to use a local lawyer and check the ownership of the property or land before making a purchase, but generally Croatia is a safe market to buy into, Mr Calvert said.
Croatian tourist board figures recently revealed that foreign and domestic tourism increased by eight per cent between January and November 2006 to 11 million in the same period last year which could be utilised be investors with property to rent out for holidaymakers.
