Post Office launches cash back incentive for insurance
Consumers who buy car and home insurance from the Post Office will benefit from a new cash back incentive.
Under the terms of the deal, which is available now, customers who take out a car or combined buildings and contents policy with the provider will be given £50 in cash.
News of the scheme comes as the Post Office this week confirmed impressive levels of take up for its insurance products.
Having launched just over a year ago, the company now provides car and home insurance cover for 620,000 customers.
Director of insurance at the Post Office, Phil Ashkuri said that demand for the products highlights the exceptional value for money they offer policy holders.
He added: "We advise people to look carefully when choosing new insurance cover as many providers may offer great promotions but the detail of the policy may not deliver the right level of cover or value for money.
"But, there are a number of things that people can do to ensure they get the best possible deal. Simple things like checking your level of excess can help reduce your premiums."
