European markets 'set to soar'
People looking to compare mortgages abroad as a means of establishing help with money might like to focus on Europe's emerging markets.
Such is the assertion of Belvins Franks, a multi-disciplinary independent personal finance services group, which states that countries joining the euro tend to make big gains in property development.
Matthew Weston, manager of overseas mortgage at the company, says: "Countries which join or are being considered for membership into the EU have historically witnessed impressive property growth from foreign investors."
He added that the European Central Bank was involved in sustaining growth and employment in member states and that with the stability that it can bring to such countries, housing and letting markets can "soar".
Currently, 13 countries throughout the European continent use the euro - with Malta and Cyprus set to take on the single currency in January.
At current exchange rates, the pound is worth €1.40.
