Urelife card offers peace of mind to parents
Parents looking to monitor their child's spending while still allowing them the flexibility offered by a debit card should consider the UreLife debit card.
Mark Dalton of Urelife said that the card was an excellent choice for parents since it enables them to switch on or off the ATM withdrawal facility.
Once this is on, the parents are granted access to their offspring's account summary, meaning they can closely monitor how and where the card is being used.
Mr Dalton said: "The beauty of it, again for parent's peace of mind, is that they can choose whether to have it switched on or not and then vary the amount that their children are allowed to withdraw.
"So if a child goes on a school trip, for example, ordinarily parents might have the ATM switched off, but if they decide they want it on for a short period of time, they can also limit the amount that can be withdrawn on a daily basis."
Other benefits offered by the card include a unique identification number so that when children are over 18 the card doubles as a useful way to prove their age when purchasing age-restricted products online.
