Cheshire scoops five star rating for home insurance policy
A home insurance policy from Cheshire Building Society has been awarded maximum marks from a market research firm.
Cheshire's Select home insurance policy was awarded five stars in a review of the home insurance market conducted by the independent data collection and research company Defaqto.
The policy, which includes both building and contents insurance, garnered particular praise for the extent of the cover it provides.
Karen Torson, partnerships business manager at Cheshire Building Society, commented: "We are delighted to have been awarded Defaqto's top five star rating. We are committed to providing high quality cover for our members and it's great to get this type of independent recognition."
The Select home insurance policy is underwritten by Royal & Sun Alliance.
As well as insurance, Cheshire also offers credit cards, mortgage and investment opportunities which are available through its network of 49 branches.
