Alliance & Leicester launches new offshore flexible income account
Alliance & Leicester has targeted expatriate Britons with the launch of a new online offshore flexible income account.
The eSaver Offshore Flexible Income account offers a arte of 6.35 per cent with the option of either monthly or quarterly interest payments.
It also allows withdrawals of up to £5,000 without the need for prior notice and can be managed entirely online.
Simon Hull, managing director of Alliance & Leicester International (ALIL), said the account had been designed to offer greater flexibility to expatriates after studies showed that this was what they most desired from an offshore account.
He said: "As with all ALIL products, innovation, access and strong rates are key, which is why we're constantly striving to ensure our customers get the products they really want.
"Our new eSaver Offshore Flexible Income account has been designed specifically for expat savers who require a regular income from their savings, providing them with the ease of an online account, strong rates and the opportunity to make a penalty-free withdrawal of £5,000 every month."
